12 Five year plan launched so far.
12 Five year plan will be the last five year plan because since 2017 the government of (NITI) Aayug has decided to stop launching of five year plan in India.
FIRST FIVE YEAR PLAN:

- Due to china war would not achieve the grouth rate target of 5.6%
