1.why are h parameters known as hybrid parameters?
a:Hybrid means mixed .since these parameters have mixed dimensions,they are called as hybrid parameters.it is used to specify transistor characteristics.
2.Difference between 3-point and 4-point starter?

a:

3-point starter

The shunt connection in 4- point starter is provided separately from the line where as in 3-point state it is connected with line which is the drawback in 3- point starter.
